Our commitment
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA across fidgetlabs.io, and we hold the sites we build for clients to the same standard. Accessibility is checked on every release, not once at launch.
How we test
- Automated. axe-core runs in our Playwright suite against the public routes before each release, checking WCAG 2.1 AA rules.
- Lighthouse. Accessibility is audited on the key pages, with a floor of 90.
- Keyboard. Every page has a skip link to the main content, a visible focus state, and a logical focus order. Every interactive element is reachable without a mouse.
- Motion. Animations respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting. Numbers and content are rendered in the page itself, so nothing depends on an animation finishing.
- Images. Every image carries alt text describing what is actually in it, or is marked decorative.
- Machine-readable. Our offers, articles, tools and glossary are also available as plain markdown for assistive and agent tools. Send
Accept: text/markdown, or start at llms.txt.
Known issues
- Brand green. White text on our brand green (#29C03F) measures below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal-size text. It is a deliberate brand choice, used mainly on buttons and large text, and it is the reason our Lighthouse accessibility score is 97 rather than 100.
- Third-party embeds. The booking calendar is provided by Calendly and inherits its accessibility. If it does not work for you, use the contact form instead and we will arrange a time by reply.
Tell us
If anything on this site is hard to use with the tools you rely on, tell us through the contact form. Say which page and what happened. We reply within 1 to 2 business days and treat accessibility reports as bugs, not feedback.
