Queer-led composable and AI consulting
Twenty years of enterprise delivery across MACH, DXP, and AI enablement. Built around teaching, shipping, and the kind of partnership that ends with your team owning the work.

Kerrigan Baron (they/them)
Kerrigan Baron brings over twenty years of enterprise consulting, MACH delivery, and digital transformation experience. Previously Senior Technical Director at Valtech and DXP Practice Lead at Merkle. Currently contracted with the MACH Alliance Tech Office on admissions and Agent Ecosystem direction, and Delivery Lead for the MACH AI Exchange.
Queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent, American living in the Netherlands. A teacher first. The kind of consultant who'd rather show you how the system works than sell you another year of dependency.
What We Value
The principles that guide how we work and who we are
Jack-of-all-Trades
We are multi-disciplinary by design. The full saying goes: "A jack-of-all-trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." Our work spans architecture, delivery, and AI enablement because the problems our clients face don't respect job titles.
Teach to Build
We teach so our clients can own, operate, and innovate without us. Every engagement is structured to leave your team more capable than we found it. Less invoice liability, more lasting capability. We're teachers first. The hackathons, the open-source prototypes, the workshops, the writing. All of it is teaching in practice.
Movement Biased
Our foundation is playful experimentation. We move to create, to test, to learn, to ship. Sitting in strategy meetings forever is its own kind of risk. Movement compounds. Stillness costs.
Diversity Led & Driven
"One is a token, diversity is plural."
Founded and led by a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent person. We center women, trans, and AFAB founders in our pricing, our partnerships, and our recommendations. Diversity isn't a checkbox. It's how the work gets better.

Fidget Labs refuses to fit in a single box
We're a consultancy run by a senior practitioner who also writes the code, builds the prototypes, and runs the hackathons. No agency layers. No junior swap halfway through delivery. The person who scoped your project is the person doing the work.
Our work sits at the intersection of three things most consultancies treat as separate. Deep MACH and composable architecture. Hands-on AI enablement. And a teacher's instinct to build capability into your team rather than dependency on ours.
We approach the work with curiosity and play. Not because consulting is light, but because joy in the process produces better systems. Better thinking. Better outcomes. If your last consulting engagement felt like a slow death by deck, you'll notice the difference quickly.
Walking the Talk on Agentic AI
The MACH Alliance launched the AI Exchange as a vendor-neutral peer network where enterprise brands, system integrators, and technology vendors co-develop the agentic patterns that work in production.
Fidget Labs founder Kerrigan Baron serves as Delivery Lead for the MACH AI Exchange and runs the program's monthly sessions and recurring hackathons. The program has shipped seven open-source agentic prototypes to date, with new builds in development across upcoming Alliance events.
Three additional prototypes have shipped since, with more in development. See the full set on the MACH Alliance GitHub.
We build with the same agent patterns internally. Walking the talk matters more than talking about the walk. Learn more about the MACH AI Exchange.
What actually makes us different
Six things you should know before we work together.
Solo, senior, present
No agency layers. No junior swap. The person who scoped your project is the person doing the work, from first call to final commit. You get direct access to two decades of MACH and DXP delivery experience.
Inside the MACH Alliance
Contracted with the MACH Alliance Tech Office on admissions and Agent Ecosystem direction. Delivery Lead for the AI Exchange and the recurring hackathons. Working inside the rooms where Alliance direction takes shape, which means clients get earlier visibility into where composable and agentic patterns are going next.
Queer-led on purpose
Identity isn't a checkbox. It shapes who we center, how we price, and who gets discounts. Queer, trans, and AFAB founders get explicit pricing support. Diverse teams ship better systems. We've watched it play out across twenty years of work.
Twenty years, not twenty months
We started in physical hardware in 2006. SEO and analytics through the 2010s. Enterprise DXP and MACH platforms since 2017. AI enablement isn't a pivot for us, it's the next layer on a foundation that goes deep.
No vaporware
Strategy decks are not deliverables. Working systems are. Every recommendation we make has been tested somewhere. Often by us, in production, with code we've maintained. If we can't point to where we've shipped it, we'll tell you.
Walking the talk
We build with the same agent patterns we recommend. The same MACH stack we advise clients to adopt. The same composable principles we teach in workshops. Our own systems are the proving ground for the patterns we sell.
